After having Breast Implants?

Hello, I’d like to know what the pain & discomfort is like after having a breast augmentation.

initial pain is “manageable”… wife did #3 hydromorphone’s (dilaudid) which are pretty strong… but in 2-3 days was down to hydrocodone (vicodins)

a month for reasonable healing… enough to “play” and not hurt.

nipple insertion for salines gave minimal scaring…

I’d avoid the under breast incision because it’s more noticeable even years later.

Is it normal for my incision from my breast augmentaion around my nipple to hurt 2 yrs later?

I had Silicone Implants. The right boob keeps getting shooting pains and has hardened a little bit around the nipple.

I used to get pains where my incision was, I went to the md and they said it was just scarring. But to be on the safe side I would call the surgeon who did the augmentation. They probably have had this sort of symptoms before from other patients and will know what it is

Where can I find a plastic surgeon who will do surgery for free or severly reduced cost?

Im told that many Universities do surgeries at free or severly reduced costs if the person agrees in writing to let medical students watch or assist the surgeon. Im looking for one in any state who does this and can do Breast Implants thru the navel as I do not want scarring, also calf implants, face lifts, liposuction etc. Help!!

you can get cosmetic surgery at strong memorial in rochester ny(level one trauma center) at a reduced price; “no students” work on you, it is a primary surgeon assisting a resident doctor……and the residents happen to be excellent surgeons them selves……….

I’ve heard that name before – I think I’ve read it in message boards and the like. Unfortunately, I don’t know any details offhand, though. You might want to check a couple sites:

http://www.plasticsurgeryportal.com – They have a listing of plastic surgeons around the country (including NYC, of course) with lots of details about each surgeon’s education, qualifications, specialties, etc.

http://www.signatureforum.com – By the same people I think, they also list plastic surgeons (and other service professionals ie cosmetic dentists, laser hair removal people, etc). The listings include ratings and feedback submitted by consumers. Should be pretty helpful for you.
