Saline Breast Implants Types
What is the difference between breast augmentation and breast reconstruction?
I have lost a significant amount of weight and am looking into getting Breast Implants as mine are completely deflated now. Anyway, I was reading up on them and it says depending on which surgery is being performed–augmentation or reconstruction–the type of implant used will be determined. I would like saline implants, but apparently for augmentation surgery patients older than 22 they have to get silicone. I don’t know which surgery I will be having. I thought it was reconstruction, but now Im unsure. If I knew the difference I would be able to tell which I need and if I will be able to get the implants I want. I really don’t want implants, but I don’t have a choice at this point. I tried searching for the answer on my own but to no avail. I am hoping someone on here will help!
