How Silicone Implants Feel
Help, please anyone who has had Breast Implants, Please help?
I just got implants 4 days ago. I know that they are swollen now but they are hard as rocks. I got Silicone Implants so they would feel more natural. But how they feel now I can’t imagine them being soft. Do they usually feel like little bowling balls? My husband isn’t going to want to play with these. Please ease my mind that they will feel significantly different. PLEASE

The tissues in the surrounding area, the ones that are holding the implants in place, are very tender and swollen right now. The expansion of the surrounding tissues, as well as the tissues of the chest wall are pressing up against the implants. the impants, since they are soft, are giving way and being pressed up towards your skin, giving them the impression of being “bowling balls”. Once the tissue goes back to normal the implants will recess back into their cavities and feel natural and normal to you.
