The Contraceptive Pill?

I am thinking of going on the contraceptive pill as it would help me in many ways: reducing my heavy periods, the awful pains, my bad PMT and acne during the week I am menstruating.
(Although I don’t have sex so I wouldn’t use it for that reason.)

I know it sounds silly, but I am almost 17 and still live with my mum and dad at home. So my question is, can I go on the pill, without my parents finding out?

My mum has strong views about the contraceptive pills and the implants.
I know one of the risks of taking the pill is an increased chance of getting breast cancer in your 30s-40s (Read it on the NHS site) however, is there any more serious risks involved with taking the pill.

Thank you.

With regards to your mom not finding out keep it under you pillow and your stash in your knicker draw, thats what I do :0) x

are air force spouses allowed plastic surgery?

my hubby is active duty air force e-2 to be exact. we are currently stationed in great falls montana.we have a soon-to-be 8 month old daughter whom i still nurse, but i was wondering if the tricare covered plastic surgery .(naturally i want breast implants) lol. i mean, i am a b right now, but pre-nursing i was a full c and fit perfectly in a 34D. so i am definitely unsatisfied as of right now lol so… if anyone knows the answer or knows a good plastic surgeon.. i would greatly appreciate your insight.

I doubt Tricare would cover it. I don’t think ANY coverage covers breast implants unless it is following a mastectomy.

Silicone Breast Implants Pregnancy

I’m looking into getting breast implants and am wondering what is the best choice, silicone or saline?

I’ve had two children and am in need of some breast reconstuctive surgery.I’m wondering if anyone has ever gotten breast implants put in through the belly button, because I also want the surgeon to stictch my belly button back to the stomach muscle. The muscle got seperated through my two pregnancies, and my belly button detached itself from the muscle.Anyway, just wondering if anyone went through something similar and has any advice to give me.Thanks so much!!

There are pros and cons of each, so it depends on what you are looking for, the method of surgery (over or under the muscle) and the incision cite, because the silicone must go in full, so its a larger incision. I opted for silicone because I wanted a softer and more natural look and feel, and I wanted to go over the muscle.

Also, the belly button is NOT connected to the stomach muscles, I am assuming you are talking about the rectus abdominis. The rectus abdominus has 2 heads, that run vertical along side eachother and are used when you flex your spine (sit up or bend forward). They spit apart during pregnancy so they do not get over stretched and weakened. This is called a diastases. However, they do get a bit stretched and weakened during pregnancy. They move back together after pregnancy, but often not all the way. There are exercises you can to strengthen this area and close your diastases, giving your abdomen a flatter appearance. Breast Implant Sizes?

Okay so I am not a small framed woman…I am 5′8 1/2 165 lbs…I have barely a B cup bra size and I am getting breat implants next week. I am on the fence about 465 cc’s overfilled to 500 cc’s or doing 500 cc’s overfilled to 525 cc’s. Help! I like the way the 500’s look in the sports bra but the doctor said he will have a harder time getting the 500’s overfilled in and it’s up to me. I would like to be a nice full D. I am getting high profile saline. Any suggestions based on experience….Thanks!

Opt for the smaller ones, and think twice about the overfilling.
I’ve known a lot of women who had them. Many wished they hadn’t gone as big as they did, and a couple even had revisions to make them smaller or take them out! If you’re barely a B-cup now, D’s will look… well, fake. And if you over-fill, they will feel super-fake (rock-hard) as well.
I’d recommend a full C-cup, and if the surgeon can do the “gummy-bear” implants instead of the saline, I strongly recommend that option, too.
