Cabin air pressure…?

Is the reason why everything is sucked out of an opening of a plane when flying because the air/pressure inside tries to ‘balance’ itself so that the cabin and atmospheric pressure becomes equal? Is that the same reason for the Exploding Breast Implants Myth and why some objects expand at low pressure?

yes it is exactly. when an airplane goes up to high altitudes (for fuel efficiency) where the air molecules are spread out….. a person cant breath this air ,so a airplane pressurizes itself so that people can breath. when an airplane has a hole in it or experiences what is called “rapid decompression” the pressurized air rushes out ( if the hole is large enough itl suck things in the direct area out as well ) and that also creates a white mist in the cabin while the air ,as you say, equals itself out. Breast implants will not explode. there have been a lot of research done on those. if that were true the FAA (federal aviation administration) would not allow women (or men………oh god) with those implants on pressurized aircraft

Breast augmentation dilemma ?

I’m going for breast augmentation this week and I have a bit of a dilemma. I’m scheduled for an auxillary insicion. meaning they put the implant in through the armpit (*CRINGE*). I’ve been uncomfortable with the idea of this since day one. It just kind of grosses me out not to mention I can’t afford pain in other places since I have to get back to work asap. I’d prefer it through nipple incision but I’m worried because my doctor specializes in auxillary incision. The reason for this is because the scar is more hidden. HOWEVER I know someone else who got breast augmentation through the nipple and the scar is not visible at all. I definately wouldn’t mind it. What should I do? stick with auxillary even though I don’t like the idea of it and it’s 475$ more expensive (but is my surgeon’s preffered method) or go with what I wanted originally?

if you want to do the other, switch doctors. because if he reccomends it, you should have him do it

how long does it take for Breast Implants to drop?

I got my implants 3weeks ago they are saline and behind the muscle.They seem to drop when I lay down and massage but as soon as I sit up they get hard and move up.They look really funny and full at the top and sag at the bottom is this normal?Has anyone had this happen to them?I was told by my ps that I need to massage and wear a strap over the top of them to push them down in place to where the made the pocket for them…but How do I know if the pocket closed without the implant in it?Any info is helpful thanks

Your only 3 weeks out, so you’ve got a little more dropping to do. As long as you keep massaging, the pockets will not close. The implant drops as the muscle releases it (assuming you went under the muscle). This can take from 5 weeks to even maybe 8 weeks. The next stage after dropping is called “fluffing” this is when you skin will stretch to accodomate the implant. So basically you skin will soften and not be so tight. As for the strap, I had to wear one 24/7 for 6 weeks and I feel that it helped me out a lot in dropping. Everyones body chemistry is different, so we all heal differently. If you have any concerns, you should call your plastic surgeon for reassurance.
