Ok so I lost about 35 to 40 lbs. I am 4’11 and finally have reached my goal weight of 90 lbs. Everything looks great! except for my breast. I’ve always had larger breasts I was at one point a 34dd and that’s all fine and gravy but when i lost the weight i went down to a 32c but that’s hard to find so i usually buy a 34b. Now my breast have alot of excess skin. I want to get a breast augmentation to bring my breast up to a 34d instead of doing the breast lift because I am afraid of all the scars. Would the augmentation help? or should I get the lift instead. Or maybe both?
This really depends on how much breast ptosis you have. You can do a search online for degree of breast ptosis (or droop). It ranges from grade 1 to grade 4. If you have a higher grade breast ptosis, you will need a mastopexy (lift) if your breasts just have a little extra skin and the nipple is above the inframmary crease still, implants alone might work. You may actually get the best result with both procedures. The best thing to do would be to consult with a plastic surgeon and see.
Don’t worry too much about mastopexy scars, though. If you’re not a significant scar former, you’ll probably find that the scars are minimally noticeable if at all and only noticeable when you’re naked. They won’t be visible in lingerie, swimwear, or clothing.
